Run and Verify

Run a new task manually before enabling unattended execution. Check both the TASKBASE result and the effect in the connected app.

Run manually

1. Open the task.
2. Choose Run now.
3. Provide test values or files if the task requests input.
4. Start the run and wait for it to finish.

For tasks that update real data, begin with a test destination or a small number of records.

Where to check results

• Run history — Inspect step states, inputs, outputs, and errors
• Inbox — Handle approvals, rejections, failures, and other items that need attention
• Calendar — View scheduled and completed runs over time
• Outputs — Review generated documents, messages, records, and files

The home page summarizes items that need review, failures, recent runs, and usage. Cards vary by permission and enabled feature.

If the run fails

Open the run details and inspect the first failed step. Reconnect an expired app account or select a resource again if it was removed. After fixing the cause, use Retry or Resume from failure when the option is available.
