Browser AutomationOverview

Browser Automation

Browser automation runs repetitive web input, clicks, and downloads as a browser flow. The feature may be unavailable depending on your plan or workspace settings.

Create a browser flow

  1. Choose Add task, then Browser flow.
  2. Describe the target site and desired result.
  3. When available, record the operation or use Teach Mode to demonstrate it.
  4. Select a browser profile and confirm the login and target environment.
  5. Test the flow and inspect each operation and result.

Recording may require the TASKBASE Chrome extension. Follow the installation prompt shown in the app.

Improve reliability

  • Target clear labels and controls that a person can identify.
  • Keep viewport, language, account, and destination consistent.
  • Account for loading time and confirmation pages.
  • Complete one-record testing before bulk processing.
  • Retest or record again after the target site changes.

Security

  • Use a business account with minimum required permission.
  • Never store passwords or multi-factor codes in ordinary inputs.
  • Put review before delivery, publication, purchase, or deletion.
  • Follow the target site’s terms and your organization’s rules.
  • Pause or remove unused flows and browser profiles.

Browser runs may use plan limits or credits. Check current usage under billing and usage settings.
