AIAI Task Builder

AI Task Builder

The AI task builder creates an initial task from a natural-language description and lets you refine it through conversation.

Build a task

  1. Choose Add task and select a destination space.
  2. Choose Task, Agent, or Browser flow, depending on your goal and availability.
  3. Describe the trigger, processing, apps, and destination.
  4. Review the generated structure in the preview.
  5. Ask for corrections or additions in the chat.
  6. Configure app accounts and resources, save, and test.

Example request

At 5 PM on weekdays, retrieve table rows added today, summarize the count by owner, and post it to Slack. Do not post when there are no rows.

This includes timing, source, processing, destination, and an exception condition.

Review checklist

  • Trigger time and event scope
  • Connected app account
  • Source file, channel, table, or resource
  • Update or delivery target and expected item count
  • Values passed from previous steps
  • Failure notifications and human approval points

Always test AI-generated task content and confirm that external services receive only the intended changes before activation.
