Connect an App

Connect an account before a task can use an external service such as Slack or Google Workspace.

Connect an account

  1. Open App integrations from the sidebar.
  2. Choose the app you want to connect.
  3. Follow the external service’s authorization flow.
  4. If prompted, select the spaces or resources that may use the connection.

After connecting, select the account when configuring a task step. Some integrations let administrators restrict individual Slack channels, Google calendars, accounting offices, or other resources by space.

Security practices

  • Use an account intended for business operations rather than a personal account.
  • Review the requested permissions before approving access.
  • Reconnect from App integrations after a password, owner, or authorization change.
  • Before removing a connection, identify the tasks that depend on it.

Availability depends on the plan and workspace. The lists shown under App integrations and Apps in the task builder are the current source of truth.
